TORONTO, Ont. (October 14, 2012)— Year after year, the New Product Showcase continues to be one of the hottest attractions at Landscape Ontario’s EXPO Garden and Floral fall trade show. EXPO 2012 opens October 17th at the Toronto Congress Centre, North Building, and closes the following day.

Expo’s annual display of the plants and products showcases what will be in demand from consumers over the coming season. Expo is the ideal place to spot the trends that will be all the rage when garden centres begin preparing for spring 2013.

“From garden aids to pest control to patio furniture, the products featured at EXPO's New Product Showcase will give retailers a competitive edge for the coming season,” says Heather MacRae, show manager of EXPO 2012. “The New Products on display this year feature more blooms, unique colours and ways to enhance soil to support a variety of plants. They will inspire customers with ideas for bringing their gardens to life as a backyard oasis.”

New products that will be on display at EXPO 2012 include a new range of hydrangeas and weigelas, innovations in insect control and ideas from insulated water bottles to decorative clay-and-twig tiles, that add comfort and character to homeowners' gardens.
