PROMIS® (Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System) is a set of person-centered measures that evaluates and monitors physical, mental, and social health in adults and children. PROMIS measures were developed as a part of a NIH roadmap initiative to develop state-of-the-science assessments applicable to the general population and individuals living with chronic conditions. PROMIS data collection tools are available for administering over 300 PROMIS measures and offer computerized adaptive testing (CAT) administration for precise, flexible measurement.
