The Local Source for Native Trees & Shrubs

As a native tree and shrub nursery, our mission is to  assist in woodland management and contribute to the health and functionality of our native ecosystems to create healthy and diverse forests, properties and landscapes.

We grow and sell native trees and shrubs, provide property management services that offer direction for sound forest management, tree planting and invasive species management.

Today, our focus is being able to cater to any individual or company looking for:

  • Production of native tree and shrub nursery stock
  • Planting, maintenance and watering services
  • Forest tree and shrub seed collection (we are certified seed collectors)
  • Landscape context analysis
  • Supplier of bio-engineering material; willow/dogwood stakes and fascines
  • Trail development

Bob Baker is well known in the forestry community and by many private landowners through his extensive work as Forester for Credit Valley Conservation. In his 30 years of service, Bob has been involved in planting over 5 million trees. Since September 2000, Bob has owned and operated Baker Forestry Services, Nursery and Consulting located just south of Erin, ON.

In 2002, Bob received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal for forestry stewardship services in Canada. Also, in appreciation as a forester for CVC (Credit Valley Conservation), a 90 acre woodland property was named the Robert Baker Forest Conservation Area.
